A custom Magento powered ecommerce website to replace a hacked static site
QTrade Teas & Herbs
During an internship with QTrade Teas & Herbs I was asked if I could recover information from their website that was hacked and hijacked, replacing it with a simple and functional replacement while they looked at other options for the future. I was able to save most of the the raw data from the old site and built the replacement. After my internship they contacted me again to rebuild their site as a Magento powered ecommerce site with many custom options.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”407″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]
The Design
I started the design with one of Magento’s core templates and then restructured portions of it and built the site up from there. They wanted the site to showcase and display their key products with updated quantities and prices to only registered users that they had individually verified. Utilizing several plugins for Magento, including one specifically built to interface Magento with their inventory system, Fishbowl, I managed to build them a site with multiple user levels that updated itself daily.
After moving to a new location, the company decided to take a more hands off approach to their web presence and switched to a turnkey solution using Volusion.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”407,408,409″ title=”Gallery”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
