P.E.O. Chapter DY Yearbook

Pro Bono work for a local P.E.O. chapter

My mom asked me to help her with the layout of the annual yearbook that her chapter creates that is distributed to all of its members. It has explanations of projects, member contact information, planned event times and locations, and space for additional notes. That’s a lot of information for a small format, 60 page booklet so I offered to design and typeset the whole thing for free as a pro bono job.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1470″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The names on the pages in the picture above have been blurred for privacy reasons.

The Design

I used InDesign for this project given the length of the book and the primary focus on type with pre-formatted images in more of a support role. Using already established fonts, I restructured many of the pages with new headers and used variations in size and opacity (gray scale and black) to establish a repeated hierarchy throughout the book.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
