Two massive backdrop illustrations for a Hearthstone competition

For this contract, I created two large backdrops for a Hearthstone competition that was held at the ESL studio in Burbank. The Design
For each of the backdrops, I started with decent resolution screen capture of Hearthstone’s loading screen which is the entrance to a tavern. I had a few high resolution images to work with but not enough to generate a large enough final image so I used a variety of filters and methods in Photoshop to create very large, full resolution textures and elements that I composited together to make the final images. The overall goal was to evoke the tavern feeling that the game’s menus and sounds created when starting a game of Hearthstone.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”316,685,686″ title=”Gallery”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
